The Story Teller
D. Pine is a Colorado author and the creator of Oya ErifLleh: The Huntress, a dark fantasy series that began with his debut novel, The Pattern Begins.

Long before becoming an author, David was an artist, builder, and storyteller. He spent nearly twenty years as a tattoo artist and has always been drawn to creating things.
Whether through art, games, characters, or simply figuring out how something works. Writing eventually became another way to bring the worlds in his head to life.
​
David is also dyslexic. Reading and writing never came easily to him, and becoming an author wasn't something he would have expected of himself growing up. With the right tools, a lot of persistence, and a story he refused to leave untold, he found his own way to do it. If that means something to another dyslexic kid or anyone who has ever believed something was beyond them, then the struggle is worth sharing.

His first novel, Oya ErifLleh: The Huntress — Book One: The Pattern Begins,
was published in 2026. What began as one story has grown into a larger journey
following Oya, her companions, and a world that continues to reveal itself one book at a time.

David lives in Colorado, where he continues writing the Oya ErifLleh series and whatever other stories refuse to leave him alone.
